When asked for his first reaction upon getting the bout offer for this card, Krol said, “Yeah, I was very happy because also I got changed a few opponents. So I was a little bit afraid I’m not going to be on the card because in my opinion BKFC is going to be the biggest federation of bare-knuckle.”

“They are making good, very good job promoting and looking after the fighters. So I’m very excited I’m here. I can speak with you, I’ve been a part of the BKFC family.”

Krol has had ten amateur mixed martial arts bouts and has now made his bare-knuckle debut in Leeds. Bartlomiej Krol says he’s more excited about competing in bare-knuckle than he used to be in MMA. He is now looking to make a big run in the fastest growing combat sport in the world. Krol also feels bare-knuckle preparation is also harder than a training camp for MMA.

When asked about what his style is as a fighter, Krol said: “I think I like knocking people out in the few first seconds (laughs). That’s going to be my style, you know? Strong left hands because I’m left handed, uppercuts, hooks. Yeah, that’s it.”

Bartlomiej Krol dropped his opponent twice in the bout. He was pursuing Griffiths right from the beginning of the bout. His four months long training camp gave him the conditioning necessary to be able to push at an intense pace.

The big support he received in England energized the Polish fighter. Krol comes from a small city in Poland called Pila and feels blessed to represent his country and family on this global stage. Krol said he would be down to fighting in America next week if he got the call.
