Talking with Bare Knuckle News (TM) about their day-to-day relationship as a bare-knuckle power couple, Warren said,

“It’s good, man, because it’s probably not a common scenario for a couple to both be fighters. But since we are, we know the struggles, you know what I mean? Like I can know when not to tease her – because she’s probably hungry right now – because she’s cutting weight like she’s supposed to.”

“So we all know about recovery, rest, all this stuff we need to do. When you have somebody who’s going through the same thing, I don’t know, it makes you a little more coming in to try and help one another and not just brush it off, I guess.”

Pittman is quite the pastry chef and Warren doesn’t even need to abstain from them during his weight cuts. He stated that’s the one benefit of being the smaller guy in this weight division is he can eat whatever he wants. Warren actually claimed he does not cut one calorie, year-round, and feels it’s all about eating what you want – balancing it out with hard work, and being fully nourished/happy while getting in that sustained training.

‘Captain Deadpool’ will be joined in the UK by Pittman and a few other Shift MMA compatriots flying over as well. Warren heads over to knuckle up and toe the line against Danny Christie in Leeds for BKFC 55’s headlining attraction.

Also, Warren is looking into extending the United Kingdom trip a bit if he can pull something off with work. But BKFC’s number three ranked light heavyweight is hoping to at least take in a little bit of the culture overseas before and after his November 18th contest.
