Eddie Alvarez will make his return to the bareknuckle boxing ring later tonight (Sat., Dec. 2, 2023) at BKFC 56 live on FITE.TV pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, as the former UFC lightweight champion meets Mike Perry in the main event for the “King of Violence” crown.

This is a massive matchup for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (UFC) as the promotion looks to close out 2023 in style. Alvarez is already known as one of the wildest fighters in recent MMA history and a true fan favorite. Perry, on the other hand, is a violent madman in his own right and has produced a 3-0 record under the BKFC banner since debuting back in 2022.

Alvarez, who will be making just his second appearance inside of the BKFC ring this weekend, made his bareknuckle debut at BKFC 41 this past April. “Underground King” was matched up against former UFC featherweight title challenger Chad Mendes. It was a tremendous five-round fight to say the least, but a brawl that Alvarez eventually won via split decision.

Luckily, BKFC has been kind enough to release the full fight video for Alvarez vs. Mendes ahead of Alvarez’s return to action this weekend. Check it out in the above video player.

BKFC 56 will also feature a co-main event clash between BKFC women’s flyweight champion Christine Ferea and former UFC fighter Bec Rawlings. The two first met at BKFC 41 earlier this year and Ferea ended up defending her title via TKO (doctor’s stoppage). Former UFC contenders, Jeremy Stephens and Jimmie Rivera, will also meet on the PPV undercard.
