Jared “Captain Deadpool” Warren struck gold at BKFC 62.

After 10 fights in the Squared Circle, Warren officially laid claim to the vacant BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Championship with his unanimous decision victory over JoMi Escoboza on Friday at the sold-out Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL. 

Warren first entered the BKFC Squared Circle at BKFC 8 in 2019. His goals were modest when he began his bare knuckle career, but the Tampa, FL fighter soon realized that he could have some success in this new, fast-growing sport.

“After the first win, the wheels in my head started turning and I had the realization that I don’t have a good reason not to see how far I could go in this sport if I made a serious push,” Warren says.

“I went back to training full time and really started pushing it to see if I could make it to the top.”

Warren is now 7-2, 1 NC on the strength of three straight victories in the Squared Circle. 

Now that the newly crowned champ has seemingly reached the summit of the BKFC world, he’s not done climbing yet.
