Johnny Bedford and Reggie Barnett are getting another crack at one another, and another chance to hold Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship gold.

The BKFC announced Friday that a rematch between Bedford and Barnett will headline BKFC 20 on Aug. 20 in Biloxi, Miss., with the winner claiming a vacant bantamweight title. Incumbent champion Dat Nguyen recently vacated the title when he and the BKFC were unable to come to terms on a new contract.

In the first meeting between Bedford and Barnett at BKFC 6 two years ago, Bedford defeated Barnett by unanimous decision. That win earned him a vacant title, which he later lost to Nguyen.

The Bedford-Barnett matchup was originally expected to be part of the upcoming BKFC 19 card on July 23, but will now serve as the Aug. 20 main event.

Also official for BKFC 20 is the debut of former UFC middleweight contender Alan Belcher. Belcher (18-8 in MMA) will compete at heavyweight and make his debut against well-traveled combat sports veteran Tony Lopez (64-32 in MMA). Lopez has competed three times for BKFC, losing twice and going to a split draw in an instant classic against Joey Beltran at BKFC 4.

This will be Belcher’s first fight since UFC 159 in April 2013, where he lost to Michael Bisping by technical decision.
