In the cruiserweight division at #BKFC37, Bare Knuckle veteran Mason “Smiley” Shaw got the unanimous decision victory over previously unbeaten Lee Browne. Despite some initial moments of confusion with Browne being falsely announced the winner: “A little bit of madness, it really got me angry for a second. But it was the right result afterwards, so I’m happy.”

Shaw thinks that his Bare Knuckle experience played a major role in the fight: “All my fights before kind of led to this performance. I think with Bare Knuckle, it takes you a few to get going and find out what your style is in there. And likewise, a single punch can change a fight. So you’ve got to stay switched on.”

Now Mason Shaw feels ready to be matched up against the best in the division: “I’d love to get on one of those US shows and fight Lorenzo Hunt but I don’t think they’ll give me that one anytime soon. I think I’ve got the beating of the man quite easy to be honest.”
