BYB Extreme

BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle Fighting made its Denver debut at Stockyards Event Center for BYB 22 “Rocky Mountain Brawl” last Sat. (Dec. 2) in Colorado, headlined by three world title fights. That includes the Lightweight championship showdown between Mark Irwin and Julio Tanori-Rodriguez, with “The Shark” losing a close decision and suffering a brutal hematoma in the process.

Have a look:

With his victory, the 21 year-old Tanori-Rodriguez becomes the youngest active champion in bare knuckle boxing.

Elsewhere on the card, Lorawnt-T “Smash” Nelson claimed his first bare knuckle title with a third-round technical knockout victory against previously undefeated Robert Serna for the vacant BYB Super Middleweight strap. Before that, Paty Juarez took home the BYB Women’s Lightweight and Police Gazette World Diamond belts with her majority decision victory over Monica Medina.

Earlier in the night, “Red” Sonya Dreiling avenged her previous loss to Miranda Barber, evening the score with a five-round unanimous decision. Harry “The Hitman” Gigliotti scored a first-round knockout over Cody Jenkins, not long after “Hurricane” Ike Villanueva stopped Jay Fish inside the first frame.

In addition, Shelby “Boom Boom” Cannon remained undefeated inside the Trigon after a five-round unanimous decision over Cecy UIloa, while Tommy “The Samurai” Turner got back to his winning ways with a first-round knockout over Mitch Seybold.
