If that’s the case, Mike Perry is prepared to “take Jake’s back.”

Jake Paul is itching to make his mixed martial arts (MMA) debut.

And if UFC welterweight turned bareknuckle “king” Mike Perry is prepared to accept the rematch clause that Nate Diaz rejected, “The Problem Child” is willing to face “Platinum” inside the PFL “SmartCage” after they throw down atop the DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) card this Sat. night (July 20) in Tampa.

“I’m down,” Paul said. “When I beat Mike Perry in boxing, f—k it, we could run it back in MMA. I want an MMA fight. I mean, the SmartCage is literally right there. And I think once I start MMA, my wrestling background is going to come out and I think I’ll be a very dangerous MMA fighter as well. So, Mike Perry can get it. My hands are trisexual — they’ll try anything once and that’s MMA.”

Perry is 0-1 as a professional boxer but 5-0 on the bareknuckle circuit with three knockouts. “Platinum” accepted the Paul fight after Mike Tyson was forced to postpone his “Problem Child” headliner to deal with an ulcer flareup. Whether or not that fight remains booked for November could depend on how well Paul performs this weekend at Amalie Arena.

“I’ll take Jake’s back,” Perry responded. “Jiu-jitsu is not something that just, wrestling and Jiu-jitsu, that’s not just something that you keep in your back pocket. I don’t know, I saw Logan Paul and Paulo Costa messing around, but like … how serious is that? I don’t let people just have easy ones on me, if we’re in the ring and we’re training or whatever.”

Well see how easy things get this weekend in “The Sunshine State.”
