When does “shooting your shot” end and “begging for attention” begin?

Former UFC welterweight title challenger, Darren Till, who eventually moved up to middleweight before parting ways with the world’s preeminent MMA promotion, has not competed since suffering a submission loss to Dricus Du Plessis back in late 2022.

In fact, “The Gorilla” has not won a fight in nearly five years.

That may explain why the 31 year-old Till continues to lobby for a Jake Paul boxing match. Outside of UFC, and legitimate “sweet science” fight cards, “The Problem Child” is probably the most lucrative bout on the market, which is why Paul gets so many cheesy callouts.

Add Till to that not-so-illustrious list, which did not sit well with fans on social media.

Former UFC title contender calling out YouTubers! Lol kinda embarrassing.

This fight isn’t happening. I feel sorry for Darren. He needs a fight.

Desperate Darren.

Sad to see a real fighter begs to fight Jake Paul for money.

Your name not big enough to fight Jake Paul, facts of life.

To think what you used to say about influencers.

Another washed up UFC fighter for Jake to destroy.

Love you Darren but no one wants to see this mate.

I guess Till’s influencer boxing promotion never got off the ground.

Paul is currently attached to a Mike Tyson fight later this year, with a new date expected shortly. “Iron” had to postpone his original plan following a debilitating ulcer flare up, which now appears to be under control.

In the meantime, Till can always answer this challenge.
