Lane, who was on a two-fight win streak, expresses his excitement and reveals that he sees this victory as a new beginning for his career. Despite being out of the squared circle for one and a half years, Lane shares that getting back in the ring was relatively easy, but adjusting and strategizing during the fight posed a challenge. He credits a third-round kick for helping him pick up the pace.

Telling us “You know, having the experience in the ring just alone fighting. You know he’s he maybe has under ten fights total and I’m well deep in almost 50 fights man. So I definitely have the experience over him. And I knew I was going to play advantage on my part.”

Lane also discusses his opponent’s timidity during the weigh-ins and how it brought some fire to the event, resulting in an entertaining viral video.

Lane fulfills his prediction of finishing the fight in the third round and attributes his advantage of experience as a deciding factor in the match. While his opponent expressed disappointment with the result, Lane remains open to the possibility of a rematch but looks forward to getting back in the gym and focusing on his next fight, possibly in Miami on February 2nd.
