In the highly anticipated main event at the BKFC Prospects Show in Denver, Sawyer ‘Diesel’ Depee earned his fifth BKFC victory with a jaw-dropping, first-round knockout over Keegan “The Career Killer” Vandermeer. The Lolo, MT cruiserweight contender dropped hometown favorite Vandermeer three times, with the fight being stopped at 1:33. Depee is now 5-2, with all his wins coming by first-round stoppage, while Vandermeer moves to 2-2.
“I want to go for the belt. That’s what we’re here for, that’s what we’re chasing, and I want it,” Depee told the sold-out National Western Center.
